Build a Career in Connected Home Technology

Do you have a passion for residential technology, home cinema, hi-fi, networking, smart home systems, or integrated home control?

Are you someone who enjoys solving technical problems, helping customers, and learning about the latest technology?

If so, AWE could offer the perfect opportunity to build a long-term career within one of the UK's most exciting and fast-growing technology sectors.

About AWE

AWE is one of the UK's leading specialist distributors of premium audio visual, networking, control and smart home technology brands. We work with professional installers, retailers and system integrators across the UK, helping them design and deliver exceptional connected home experiences.

Representing some of the world's most respected technology brands, we pride ourselves on expert advice, exceptional customer service, and industry-leading technical support.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Technical Product Support Specialist to join our team at our Epsom headquarters.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding position that combines technical support, product testing, customer interaction, and ongoing technical development.

Working alongside our technical and sales teams, you will provide first-line technical support to our trade customers while developing in-depth knowledge across a range of technologies, including residential audio visual, networking, control, and smart home solutions.

This is a B2B role supporting professional integrators, installers and retailers, not end consumers. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with customers throughout the industry while representing some of the market's leading brands.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
