Are you a freelance Technical Production Manager based in Surrey, ideally around the Redhill area, with a strong background in event, experiential, exhibition or bespoke production?

Xquisite Productions is looking for a technically minded, self-sufficient and proactive Technical Production Manager to help bring ambitious brand experiences and bespoke builds to life.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how things are made, can read and interpret technical information, and is comfortable working between creative, account management, workshop and site teams.

You'll be involved from initial concept through to fabrication, installation and delivery, helping turn creative ideas into practical, buildable and commercially viable solutions.

We have our own in-house metal fabrication, carpentry & joinery, paint, print / wrap and technical teams, so you'll be working directly with the people actually building the projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the technical production of live experiential, exhibition and event projects
  • Reviewing creative concepts and developing practical, buildable solutions
  • Working closely with our workshop teams across metalwork, carpentry, joinery, paint, print and fabrication
  • Understanding materials, construction methods, finishes and production processes
  • Coordinating technical drawings, specifications and production requirements
  • Owning production timelines, logistics, costs and technical coordination
  • Working closely with account management, creative, workshop and technical teams
  • Managing suppliers, procurement and specialist production where required
  • Producing and maintaining project documentation including WIPs, RAMS, GANTTs and budgets
  • Supporting and managing installations, de-rigs and on-site delivery
  • Troubleshooting technical and production challenges and finding practical solutions
  • Working across UK and international projects when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
