Business Development Manager – Technical Products

Are you a commercially minded Business Development Manager who enjoys getting under the skin of a product, understanding its applications and developing technically complex sales over a longer sales cycle?

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing international manufacturer seeking a Business Development Manager to drive OEM and specification sales across the UK. This is an 80% new business role, but it isn't about chasing quick transactional wins. You'll identify opportunities early, understand customer requirements, influence specifications and develop opportunities through to order.

Working with manufacturers, consultants, specifiers, contractors and end users, you'll help ensure products are designed into projects from concept stage through to installation. It's a great time to join the business, with significant investment in growth, new products coming to market and an excellent reputation for its UK-manufactured product range.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
