Technical Professional Services Manager

We are supporting a fast-growing AI SaaS business with the appointment of a Technical Professional Services Manager. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a Professional Services function at a pivotal stage of the company's growth journey.

Reporting to the COO, you'll be responsible for shaping and scaling Professional Services, overseeing onboarding and customer success operations, and creating the frameworks, governance and commercial disciplines required to support an expanding customer base.

Initially, this is a hands-on role where you'll personally lead and deliver Professional Services projects while establishing the processes, methodologies and team structure needed for future growth. As the business scales, the role offers a clear pathway towards Director-level leadership. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in helping customers maximise value from an innovative AI-driven platform that automates and transforms field service operations.

Salary & Benefits

  • £60,000 - £90,000 per annum, dependent on experience

The Role

  • Shape and grow the Professional Services function across onboarding, implementation and customer success, with a focus on continuous process improvement.
  • Create scalable delivery methodologies, governance frameworks and operational standards.
  • Lead customer-facing projects, managing scope, timelines, communication and commercial performance.
  • Develop value-added services including consultancy, training, optimisation and managed services.
  • Manage resource planning, utilisation, performance reporting and future team growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in Professional Services, Delivery, Implementation or Customer Success leadership.
  • Strong understanding of AI, SaaS, automation or enterprise software environments.
  • Track record delivering customer-facing software implementation or transformation projects.
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing utilisation, delivery performance and customer outcomes.
  • Confident communicator with strong project, stakeholder and people leadership skills.
  • Experience with FSM, CRM, onboarding, governance frameworks or AI workflow automation would be advantageous.
