About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager on a six-month contract, you will drive execution and cross-team alignment across engineering and product departments. This role focuses on maintaining delivery momentum for high-visibility client projects, ensuring readiness for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and managing complex dependencies. You will take immediate ownership of program tracking and risk mitigation, providing clear visibility to senior stakeholders while navigating a multi-team environment to ensure timely software releases and operational readiness.

What You'll Do
- Manage multi-team programs by structuring execution, tracking dependencies, and maintaining delivery momentum across engineering and product stakeholders.
- Utilize Jira to configure tasks, track epics, and report on delivery health, ensuring all estimates and progress indicators are accurate.
- Monitor program health metrics, including readiness indicators and delivery risks, to identify and resolve blockers early in the development lifecycle.
- Facilitate regular program reviews and governance meetings to document decisions, clarify ownership, and ensure follow-through on action items.
- Coordinate client delivery readiness by managing UAT preparation, environment setups, and release documentation for high-priority projects.
- Assess timeline impacts and quantify delivery risks to communicate clear trade-offs and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
- Support operational planning by tracking team capacity and availability to align staffing with delivery requirements.

What You Bring
- Technical Program Management, Delivery Management, or Senior Project Management within a software development environment.
- Jira skills for advanced tracking, reporting, and workflow management.
- Proven ability to coordinate complex releases and UAT cycles across multiple engineering squads.
- Strong background in risk management, including the ability to maintain risk registers and escalate issues proactively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical progress into concise executive-level updates.
- You are located in the EU or the UK.
Nice to Haves
- Experience operating in environments with shifting priorities and partial ambiguity.
- Background in managing deliverables within AI or data-driven platform environments.
- Familiarity with structured release preparation for enterprise-grade clients.
