Technical Program Manager - Audible, AI Research

Our team builds and operates the production platform that takes state-of-the-art generative models all the way to real, customer-facing products, and we're hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to help push the state of the art.

We own the systems that turn advanced models into high-quality, delightful output for customers. Our platform spans both real-time, low-latency generation — results in a customer's hands within seconds — and large-scale offline pipelines that produce content at massive volume.

• Real customer impact — what we build ships directly to customers today.
• Cutting-edge AI — large generative models served on GPU fleets, plus large language models that analyze and enrich content before it's generated.
• Serious engineering breadth — low-latency streaming services, GPU model inference, and large-scale distributed batch processing, all on AWS (ECS, Step Functions, Lambda, S3).
• A roadmap you'll help shape — expanding into new capabilities, new languages, and richer, more controllable generation.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Manage multiple competing cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously, some on a global scale
• Interact with engineers, scientists, project managers, and senior management on a daily basis
• Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles
• Work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
• Work with scientists and software development teams to help define scope of products and enhancements we will be building
• Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up
