Head of Digital Delivery | London | Retail & eCommerce | £120k

We are seeking an experienced Head of Digital Delivery to lead the delivery, performance, and ongoing evolution of customer-facing digital and eCommerce platforms for an established consumer-facing organisation.

This is a senior role responsible for ensuring digital platforms support commercial growth, deliver an excellent customer experience, and continue to evolve while remaining stable, scalable, and reliable. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in technology delivery.

Working closely with commercial, marketing, technology, and data teams, the Head of Digital Delivery will translate business priorities into an effective digital roadmap and ensure high-quality, predictable delivery across internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of customer-facing digital and eCommerce platforms
  • Own digital roadmaps, releases, and platform enhancements
  • Drive improvements in conversion, customer engagement, and overall digital experience
  • Optimise customer journeys through data, insight, experimentation, and A/B testing
  • Ensure effective integration between digital platforms, CRM, data, and core business systems
  • Manage multiple digital and technology delivery partners, ensuring clear accountability and performance
  • Maintain platform stability, reliability, and release quality throughout ongoing change
  • Work across commercial and technology functions to ensure digital investment delivers measurable business value

Experience & Expertise

  • Significant senior-level experience delivering digital commerce or customer-facing platforms at scale
  • Strong retail and/or eCommerce experience
  • Demonstrable understanding of customer journeys, conversion optimisation, and digital performance
  • Experience of A/B testing and data-led optimisation
  • Proven experience managing multiple external technology or digital delivery partners
  • Strong experience of digital roadmaps, releases, and continuous improvement
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic, and delivery focused
  • Comfortable operating across both business and technology stakeholders
