Technical Programme Manager (Contract)
6-Month Contract | Immediate Start | Potential Extension
£500 a day outside IR35
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Technical Programme Manager to lead a business-critical HubSpot transformation programme within a fast-growing fintech environment.
This is much more than a CRM implementation/migration. The programme will impact customer data, integrations, reporting, operational processes, and multiple interconnected platforms across the organisation. You'll be responsible for ensuring delivery remains coordinated, risks are understood early, and teams stay aligned throughout the programme lifecycle. You will have to enjoy building delivery practices in messy but exciting environments.
Working across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Security, Compliance, and business stakeholders, you'll bring structure to complexity and help drive a successful migration with minimal business disruption. Culture is super important - you have to be able to influence different personalities and be excited about bringing order.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the end-to-end programme plan from discovery through launch and hypercare
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure delivery remains aligned and on track
- Manage risks, assumptions, dependencies, and issues across multiple workstreams
- Ensure technical, operational, and data impacts are fully understood before key decisions are made
- Facilitate effective programme governance, decision-making, and stakeholder alignment
- Drive accountability, remove blockers, and maintain momentum across delivery teams
- Deliver concise, outcome-focused updates to senior stakeholders and leadership
- Support testing, launch readiness, cutover planning, and post-launch stabilisation
- Maintain visibility of dependencies across CRM, integrations, reporting, customer data, and operational processes

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Significant experience leading complex technical transformation programmes
- Proven delivery of CRM, enterprise platform, or large-scale business systems change initiatives (Hubspot in a regulated space is a huge sell)
- Previous experience working within fintech, financial services, payments, or other highly regulated environments. Scale up is very important this is not the same as owning a small piece in an enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management, compliance considerations, and change control
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to confidently engage in discussions around integrations, APIs, data flows, and technical architecture
- Strong programme planning, dependency management, and execution skills
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and holding teams accountable for delivery outcomes

Highly Desirable
- Direct experience leading a HubSpot implementation, migration, or transformation
- Experience partnering closely with Data, Analytics, or Business Intelligence functions
- Familiarity with modern SaaS ecosystems and integrated technology platforms
- Experience supporting programmes with GDPR, customer data governance, or regulatory reporting requirements
