Technical Programme Manager - PAYG, EMV
Manchester
6 Month Contract initial - Long term programme
Outside IR35
North West Based - travel once or twice per week
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in transport or public-sector programmes (especially fares/ticketing), understands retail and payment Transport systems, can manage multiple stakeholders, and excels in planning, governance, communication, and driving alignment across organisations.

Essential Experience:
- ✅ Extensive experience integrating EMV and contactless payment solutions
- ✅ A proven track record of delivering Pay As You Go (PAYG) ticketing programmes
- ✅ Previous experience working within the transport industry
- ✅ Strong background in delivering complex systems integration programmes
- ✅ Knowledge of payment security, testing processes, and technical delivery environments
- ✅ Experience coordinating and managing third-party suppliers and delivery partners
- ✅ Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills
- ✅ Practical, hands-on integration delivery experience, with a preference for candidates from a delivery background rather than a purely consultancy-focused role
