Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations – Inverness, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Perth

Salary: £36,139 - £43,188 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The Role

As SSEN Transmission continues to deliver an ambitious portfolio of offshore infrastructure projects, we're looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing Offshore Directorate. You'll play a key role in coordinating activities, maintaining project controls, and helping to ensure our projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You Will

  • Work closely with our Project Engineering team to assist in the successful delivery of several major projects across Scotland; managing the project accounts, raising purchase orders, making sure suppliers are paid on time and dealing with external supplier queries.
  • Coordinate and prepare Project Engineering meetings, these will include Design Reviews, Design Risk Workshops and Engineering Team Progress meetings. Making sure these are scheduled, attended and minutes are recorded to a high quality. Organising all project reporting, making sure reports are produced on time and to a high-quality standard.
  • Coordinate technical tasks, such as assisting the Engineers with Utility Searches and managing Symology requests, making sure that all timelines are met, and the data is accurately processed.
  • Coordinate CDM Compliance Reviews for the Engineering team and assisting the Engineering team with general administration duties.
  • Create and manage the financial lifecycle of requisitions and POs.

You Have

  • Project experience working in a similar industry and proven ability to manage different stakeholders, sometimes with conflicting priorities.
  • Vast experience in an administration role demonstrating the ability to prioritise tasks and work in the most effective way to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to manage your workload and being flexible to deal with change.
  • Experience in managing project finances would be very beneficial.
  • A qualification or experience of working in an Engineering role or for an Engineering company.
