As a Technical Project Lead - Modelling and Simulation Engineer you will:
- Act as a Technical Project Lead - Modelling and Simulation Engineer embedded with customer teams, supporting clear delivery of engineering outcomes.
- Define sprint tasks, manage technical risks, and keep engineering change requests moving smoothly alongside the Engineering Manager.
- Lead Scrum ceremonies for effective planning, review, and retrospectives to drive steady progress within an Agile workflow.
- Review and merge MATLAB and Simulink deliverables, ensuring quality standards are met and work is fit for purpose.
- Collaborate across project teams to align functional implementation and reduce dependency issues.
- Support model-based design and control-focused work that may include real-time simulations and monitoring systems.

The Technical Project Lead - Modelling and Simulation Engineer will have:
- Degree-qualified, or equivalent, in a related discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely aligned field.
- Strong working knowledge of modelling principles for complex systems, with demonstrable practical experience in control, dynamics, and simulation.
- Experience developing control systems or software using MATLAB/Simulink, with confidence reviewing deliverables and managing engineering quality.
- A background that includes team leadership or mentoring, along with comfort coordinating tasking and delivery in a project setting.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum framework, using tools such as Jira and Confluence, and familiarity with Git-based version control workflows.

Location:
This Technical Project Lead - Modelling and Simulation Engineer role is predominantly based in Bristol, with occasional travel to client sites as required and the option of hybrid working.
