  • Establish and maintain project risk frameworks, lead risk workshops, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and ensure governance requirements are met.
  • Manage change control processes and oversee project decisions, escalating critical risks and issues when appropriate.
  • Provide technical delivery oversight by understanding the software development lifecycle, integrations, technical architecture, and frontend and backend concepts.
  • Clarify requirements, help remove technical blockers, and ensure technical milestones remain aligned with overall project objectives.
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear business language for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams on regulatory initiatives, security audits, market certifications, and ISO-related projects.
  • Ensure project documentation, procedures, and delivery activities meet applicable governance and audit requirements.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting covering progress, KPIs, risks, decisions, and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate project status, documentation, workflows, and reporting across project management tools and systems.
  • Deliver structured presentations and updates to senior management and steering committees.
  • Identify opportunities to use technology and AI-enabled tools to improve project delivery, collaboration, and decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
