About L3Harris UK
From 11 UK sites, our team of nearly 1,000 people delivers unique capabilities across space, air, land, sea and cyber for military, security and commercial customers across the UK and worldwide.
In the land domain, our T7 and T4 multi-mission robots deliver next-generation remote capabilities and uncompromised performance. We design and manufacture world-leading land force protection systems, cyber and electromagnetic activities (CEMA), electronic warfare (EW) and encryption capabilities. Our cyber capabilities provide an information advantage in the fields of kinetic conflict, cyber warfare, force protection and counterterrorism.
We're looking for experienced Technical Project Managers to join our growing Engineering team and play a pivotal role in delivering some of the UK's most advanced Electronic Warfare and Cyber Security capabilities.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of complex engineering programmes from concept through to delivery, working at the intersection of technical leadership and project execution. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, helping shape solutions that support critical defence and security missions while ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest technical standards.
Success in this role requires more than strong project management capability. We're seeking individuals with a solid engineering background who can engage confidently with technical challenges, understand the realities of engineering development and earn the respect of highly skilled engineering teams. While we're open to candidates from a range of engineering disciplines—including systems, software, electronics, hardware, mechanical or related fields—the ability to combine technical depth with programme leadership is essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
