Technical Project Manager

Reporting to: Head of Projects
Location: Hybrid (Remote and Cirencester Head Office)

The Role

Responsible for delivering infrastructure, cloud, network, server, storage, and data center projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical standards, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery.
  • Manage plans, budgets, RAID logs, and reporting.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Oversee migrations, cloud adoption, resilience, and infrastructure modernisation.
  • Cloud transformations, infrastructure refreshes, network upgrades.
  • M365 migrations and cyber security programmes.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven infrastructure project delivery experience.
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS, networking, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience maintaining project documentation and producing reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Desirable

  • ITIL, Azure, VMWare, and Agile certifications

The Ideal Candidate

You are an experienced Technical Project Manager with a track record of delivering infrastructure, cloud, and transformation projects. You are highly organized, commercially aware, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects. You build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and technical teams, proactively managing risks and driving projects to successful outcomes while maintaining high standards of governance and customer satisfaction.

Additional Requirements

Due to the nature of our clients, successful applicants must be able to pass a BPSS background check and hold a full UK driving licence.
