About CodeNode
CodeNode is a multi-purpose tech venue designed for digital, creative, and innovation events in Central London. Perfectly located between Moorgate & Liverpool Street Station, the venue hosts a variety of events, from community-run tech events to multi-day corporate conferences.
About the role
As our Technical Project Manager, you'll be responsible for taking conference and event bookings from confirmation through to successful delivery from a technical perspective.
Working alongside our Sales and Events teams, you'll help clients design the right AV solution for their event, coordinate technical planning, and ensure our freelance technicians have everything they need to deliver exceptional events.
This is primarily a planning and client-facing role. While you'll occasionally support onsite delivery, your focus will be on creating well-planned, stress-free events rather than operating equipment every day.
Client consultation
- Meet clients to discuss technical requirements.
- Translate client objectives into practical AV solutions.
- Recommend appropriate AV packages and additional services.
- Produce AV quotations and costings.
- Review presentations, videos, and technical content before events where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
