Are you looking to test your technical project management skills working with 3 of the top 5 global pharmaceutical companies as well as other top 20 companies with a class-leading AI product? If you are, then read on.

We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who can own the structure, momentum and accountability to a growing portfolio of customer, product, engineering, data and internal technology projects.

This is a hands-on role in a small, fast-moving business working with blue-chip customers. You’ll work across multiple teams and projects, helping turn priorities into clear plans, identifying dependencies and risks early, and making sure work moves from idea through to successful delivery.

You’ll also play an important role in coordinating our ISO 27001 compliance activities, working with colleagues across the business and using Vanta to keep controls, evidence, actions and deadlines on track.

We’re not looking for someone whose role stops at updating a project plan. We want someone who sees where a process isn’t working, brings the right people together, creates a practical way forward and drives it through to completion.

You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with Product & Data, Engineering, subject matter experts, commercial teams and our customers.

Focus

You’ll coordinate a portfolio of projects spanning customer delivery, software and AI product development, data and integration work, internal technology initiatives and information-security compliance.

You will:

  • Take ownership of coordinating multiple technical projects from planning through to delivery on time.
  • Work directly with customers to establish objectives, deliverables, milestones, dependencies and responsibilities.
  • Run customer and internal project meetings and ensure actions, decisions and commitments are clearly captured and followed through.
  • Driving accountability with the relevant work owners, not just track it.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering and Data teams to translate priorities into realistic delivery plans.
  • Maintain visibility across our active project portfolio and help identify competing priorities, resource constraints and dependencies.
  • Surface risks and blockers early rather than waiting for them to become delivery problems.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with clear, concise and useful updates.
  • Coordinate project scope, timelines, commitments and change requests alongside the wider commercial and leadership team.
  • Help ensure that customer expectations and internal delivery plans remain aligned.
  • Improve workflows and processes where better structure would help the team move faster or work more effectively.
  • Balance processes to provide clarity and accountability without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy.

Technical project management

You won’t be expected to write production code, but you should be technically confident enough to work effectively with engineers, product and other team members, and understand the systems and projects you are coordinating and understand how internal AI tools can improve processes, speed, and productivity.

You should be comfortable discussing concepts such as:

  • Software development lifecycles.
  • APIs and system integrations.
  • Databases and data pipelines.
  • Cloud-based systems and environments.
  • AI and machine-learning applications.
  • Releases, testing and deployment.
  • Technical dependencies and architecture.
  • Security and data-protection requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Strong influencer and collaborative worker.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The confidence to challenge assumptions, ask difficult questions and push for decisions when required.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • A proactive approach to risks, deadlines and dependencies.

Experience with ISO 27001, information-security compliance or regulated industries would be particularly valuable.

Experience in pharma, healthcare or life sciences would be useful, but it is not essential.
