About The Role

As our IT Technical Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects across IT Desktop, Networking and Business Systems.

Working with business sponsors, system owners, technical specialists and third-party suppliers, you’ll translate approved business requirements and technical solutions into clear, controlled delivery plans. You’ll lead projects from initiation and planning through testing, implementation, hypercare, closure and successful handover into business-as-usual support.

You’ll manage project governance, budgets, forecasts, risks, dependencies and change control, while ensuring stakeholders have clear and transparent visibility of progress. You’ll also oversee suppliers, testing, implementation and operational readiness, making sure projects are delivered safely, securely, on time and within budget.

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll lead cross-functional and multi-supplier teams, constructively challenge technical plans and assumptions, and ensure new or changed technology services are ready to operate effectively from day one.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects with significant operational, financial or client impact.

You’ll bring experience across areas such as end-user computing, infrastructure, networks, cloud services, cybersecurity, business applications, systems integration or data migration, together with the technical confidence to challenge architects, engineers, application specialists and suppliers when needed.

You’ll be comfortable managing the full project lifecycle, including planning, governance, budgets, risks, testing, deployment, hypercare and operational handover. Commercially aware and highly organised, you’ll also have experience managing third-party suppliers, contractual deliverables and competing priorities.

Strong stakeholder management is essential. You’ll be confident engaging and influencing at all levels, including having robust conversations with senior leaders, clients and third parties. You’ll be analytical, resilient and proactive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple complex priorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Our Values

We are a family

Just like any other family, we laugh, cry, celebrate and commiserate together. We may come from many different backgrounds, but we’re always there when it really matters. Whether it’s with practical help and support, or simply a mug of tea and a shoulder to cry on.

Sharing makes us stronger

Knowledge is more powerful when its shared. Which is why we share everything - our ideas, our expertise, our news and most-of-all our time. Show humility. Share and work together, and anything is possible.

Own your space

You are Atlas. Don’t be afraid to make decisions. Use your time wisely and treat every pound as if it was coming from your own pocket.

Be honest. Always.

Have the courage to do the right thing, even when no-one is watching. Whether it’s owning up to a mistake, having a difficult conversation, or simply arguing a point you feel passionate about. Be yourself. Authenticity breeds trust. Trust brings happiness.

Treat clients like our best friends

If we’re a family, then our clients are our best friends. Friends who you can be completely open and honest with, because they trust you to put their interests first. We take the time to listen to what’s going on in our clients lives and pull out all the stops to make them feel happy.

Start with Wow

And never settle for less. Create time to focus on quality and prioritise long-term solutions over short-term fixes. Constantly seek opportunities to learn from others, and if something doesn’t make sense, shout. Always ask yourself if there is more we can do to bring happiness to those around us.

Don't just talk. Do.

We are a business that thrives on doing. The more we do, the more we succeed. Embrace change. Keep it simple. Keep meetings short. Plan just enough to succeed. And then get on with it.
