12-Month Fixed Term Contract (strong possibility to go perm on completion) Newcastle / Hybrid Working £65,000 - £75,000 (with flex) + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We are working with a well-established and highly respected financial services organisation seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to join on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to move into a permanent position thereafter.

Operating within the retail banking, savings and mortgage sector, the organisation is investing heavily in its technology estate and core banking platforms. The Role

This is a leadership position combining technical delivery, people management and service improvement. You'll lead a team of IBM i (AS/400) developers whilst remaining close enough to the technology to provide technical direction and challenge where required.

The successful candidate will act as the bridge between technology teams, business stakeholders and senior leadership, ensuring delivery priorities are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
