Technical Project Manager - Commercial Technology Enablement Programme
The V&A is the world's leading museum of art and design, housing a permanent collection of over 2.8 million objects, books and archives that span over 5,000 years of human creativity. The museum holds many of the UK's national collections and houses some of the greatest resources for the study of architecture, furniture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, painting, jewellery, glass, ceramics, book arts, Asian art and design, theatre and performance.
The V&A is making a significant investment in its technology estate, modernising its commercial platforms and wider technology environment to create a more connected, scalable and resilient organisation.
We are recruiting a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology projects that support the V&A's strategic ambitions. Working with business and technology stakeholders, suppliers and delivery partners, you will provide the governance, planning and leadership needed to deliver projects successfully.
This role is a 24-month fixed-term contract supporting the Commercial Technology Enablement Programme, focussed on establishing a modern integration capability, implementing cross-system integrations, introducing business service observability, and undertaking targeted remediation and continuous improvement across key commercial platforms, including Salesforce Commerce Cloud and LS Retail/Business Central. This role will lead complex commercial technology projects to modernise integrations and key platforms, working across business, technology, suppliers and delivery partners to improve resilience, supportability and establish scalable foundations for future commercial transformation.

Responsibilities
- Provide governance, planning and leadership for technology projects.
- Lead complex commercial technology projects to modernise integrations and key platforms.
- Work across business, technology, suppliers and delivery partners.
- Improve resilience, supportability and establish scalable foundations for future commercial transformation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering complex technology projects through the full project lifecycle.
- Strong project governance, reporting, risk and RAID management skills.
- Experience working within large programmes, coordinating multiple stakeholders, suppliers and delivery teams.
- Experience delivering infrastructure, cloud migration, enterprise integration or platform transformation projects.
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, resource planning and delivery roadmaps.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and delivery-focused approach.
