About The Role

Are you ready to dive into the heart of fundamental AI research and drive projects that redefine what’s possible? We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to become an indispensable member of a multi-disciplinary research group. In this role, you won’t just manage tasks; you’ll be the catalyst for success, ensuring that our world-class researchers have everything they need to push the boundaries of AI. You’ll build vital relationships across research, engineering, product, legal, and policy teams, serving as a reliable point of contact and ensuring all program needs are met. Your ability to eliminate barriers, clearly communicate progress, and keep the big picture in focus while managing intricate details will be key to your success and the team’s achievements. What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate closely with researchers and cross-functional partners, effectively communicating research plans, progress, and results to a diverse audience.
  • Drive projects forward by ensuring tasks are prioritized, completed on time, and providing transparent status updates including metrics, risks, and mitigation strategies to all stakeholders.
  • Translate strategic visions into structured, actionable plans, leveraging established formats and contributing to team alignment by connecting project goals to broader organizational objectives.
  • Execute defined project scopes with precision, focusing on key objectives, managing interdependencies, proactively addressing risks, and providing comprehensive reporting.
  • Analyze data efficiently, translating insights into actionable recommendations and influencing decisions to implement positive changes within the team.
  • Foster clear, timely, and collaborative communication across all levels and functions of the organization.

What You’ll Bring

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, or artificial intelligence.
  • A Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, and consistently delivering results in a highly organized manner.
  • Experience in building and nurturing relationships with diverse stakeholders across various cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Direct experience in generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) research.
  • Experience managing projects with remote or distributed teams.
