Technical Project Manager (AV & Interactive Technology)

📍 Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire (Some hybrid working available)
🌍 UK & International Travel
đź’° Competitive Salary + Benefits

At Response Multimedia, we don't install off-the-shelf AV systems. We create bespoke technical solutions that bring brands to life.

From custom software applications and interactive touch experiences to LED displays, immersive environments, sensor-driven activations and exhibition technology, we design, develop and deliver unique experiences tailored to every client.

While many of our projects are delivered for global pharmaceutical companies at international congresses and exhibitions, we also work across a range of industries where innovation, creativity and flawless technical delivery are essential.

We're looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager who enjoys turning ambitious ideas into reality and thrives on delivering projects that combine software, AV technology and live events.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing bespoke projects from concept through to delivery.
  • Working directly with clients to understand their objectives and translate ideas into technical solutions.
  • Coordinating software developers, designers, AV technicians, fabricators and external suppliers.
  • Managing project budgets, timelines, resources and client expectations.
  • Planning and delivering installations for exhibitions, conferences and live events across the UK and internationally.
  • Overseeing the development of custom software applications, interactive experiences and specialist AV systems.
  • Supporting onsite installations, testing and client handovers.
  • Identifying project risks and ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
