Make the extraordinary, everlasting — with us.

At Event Concept, we craft extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression — not just for our clients, but for our people too. We blend the big ideas of a creative agency with the meticulous execution of a production company, bringing bold, imaginative events to life.

We’re collaborative, down-to-earth, and serious about delivering quality — all while finding time for lightness and fun. If you’re someone who’s curious, adaptable and excited to do meaningful work with a team that’s got your back, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

EC have an opportunity for a multi-disciplinary Technical Project Manager to join our team. In this role, reporting into our Head of Production, you’ll organise the technical delivery of projects.

Using technical creativity skills, you will be responsible for ensuring the projects you are working on are quoted, specified, and delivered on budget and on time. Always working with teams, either big or small, you are an integral part of the event process, lending experience and knowledge throughout the event cycle.

You would be based in our London office and deliver in some of the most iconic venues in London, as well as across the rest of the UK and sometimes abroad. So, if you are an engineer looking to step up or a seasoned professional wanting a new challenge, then this exciting role could be for you.

Who are you?

  • You have demonstrable experience in a technical role within the live events industry.
  • You have a good working knowledge of event technology, including audio, video and lighting, with the ability to confidently kit-list projects in at least two disciplines.
  • You have experience working on a variety of project types, including conferences and private events.
  • You are a strong project manager with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • You’re a creative problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet and resolve technical challenges under pressure on-site.
  • You have good verbal and written communication skills and can communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • You have an awareness of the role of health and safety in the industry, such as risk assessments and advocating for best working practices on site.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
