Join our dynamic team to innovate and drive technology advancements, contributing to significant business growth and client success.
As a Technical Project Manager III in JPMorgan Chase Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Technology, you will help lead complex technology projects and programs that drive business goals and create value for clients, employees, and stakeholders. You will apply a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and delivery methodologies to plan and execute end-to-end delivery, navigate ambiguity, and manage risk. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential to align partners on objectives, governance, and outcomes across engineering, product, and business teams. You will also support delivery of initiatives across the data/AI/ML ecosystem, helping teams translate strategy into measurable execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project plans incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, dependencies, and timelines to deliver technology solutions on time.
- Identify and mitigate risks by proactively addressing roadblocks, managing RAID items, and implementing contingency plans to maintain momentum.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders) to define scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables aligned to business goals.
- Drive delivery governance including status reporting, executive-ready communications, decision logs, and escalation of impediments as needed.
- Apply technical fluency to support solution planning, evaluate platform/tooling options, and coordinate with vendors and internal technology partners when applicable.
- Enable Agile delivery by supporting team ceremonies, maintaining delivery transparency, and promoting continuous improvement through practical Agile practices and metrics.
- Use delivery metrics and analytical reasoning (e.g., throughput, cycle time, aging work, defects, risks, dependencies) to assess performance, improve predictability, and optimize execution.
- Support AI/ML and data initiatives by coordinating cross-product and cross-line-of-business stakeholders, clarifying requirements, and ensuring delivery plans reflect model/data dependencies and controls.
- Synthesize complex information into clear problem statements, recommended actions, delivery plans, and risk assessments that are customer- and stakeholder-focused.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate planning and risk synthesis (e.g., drafting plans, RAID, and status narratives), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
