Opportunity for a Technical Project Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Project Manager to join a specialist cyber technology and software assurance company supporting UK Defence and Critical National Infrastructure programmes.

About the Role

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be coordinating projects, tracking progress and ensuring technical and regulatory activities remain aligned with agreed business objectives and timescales.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating and managing project plans covering technical and regulatory activities.
  • Setting project timelines and monitoring progress against agreed deadlines.
  • Organising regular internal and external meetings, recording actions and providing progress updates to teams and senior management.
  • Identifying project risks and potential issues, putting appropriate contingency measures and corrective actions in place.
  • Co-ordinating with technical, regulatory, supply chain and commercial stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with external partners.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, IT Project Manager, Programme Manager, Technical Delivery Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Confident using Atlassian applications, including Confluence and Jira.
  • Ability to co-ordinate multiple stakeholders and activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to organise workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
