Technical Project Manager III
As a Technical Project Manager III in JP Morgan Chase, Corporate Technology, Employee Platforms Delivery and Execution, you will support the planning and delivery of complex technology initiatives that span teams and platforms. You will partner closely with program leads, engineering, architecture, product, and business. Applying a broad knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential to developing innovative solutions, along with leveraging analytical reasoning and adaptability skills to navigate through ambiguity and change. Your strong communication abilities will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment on project objectives and governance. By optimizing resources and managing risks, you will contribute to the successful delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end program execution for large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring scope, milestones, and outcomes are clearly defined and delivered.
- Build and maintain integrated plans across workstreams, including timelines, resourcing assumptions, dependencies, and cutover/rollout considerations to enable on-time delivery and smooth integration.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams to translate requirements into actionable plans, track progress, and surface delivery risks and trade-offs.
- Own delivery hygiene and governance inputs, including RAID logs, status reporting, action tracking, and preparation for steering/forums to ensure decision-ready visibility.
- Drive iterative delivery practices by supporting Agile and hybrid delivery cadences (e.g., sprint planning, PI planning inputs, retrospectives, and delivery metrics).
- Proactively identify and help mitigate risks and blockers, coordinating issue resolution, escalation paths, and contingency planning with program leadership.
- Develop clear, data-driven reporting and insights, leveraging dashboards and visualization to communicate progress, outcomes, and trends to stakeholders.
- Enable stakeholder engagement and change readiness, supporting communications, workshops, training coordination, and feedback loops that improve adoption and execution.
- Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency, identifying opportunities to standardize, automate, and simplify delivery workflows.
- Build AI fluency and apply agentic tools/agents where appropriate, exploring practical use cases (e.g., status automation, dependency analysis, portfolio insights, documentation) while partnering with teams to ensure responsible, governed adoption.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on technical program management concepts and advanced applied experience within a large organization.
- Experience supporting cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, systems, and delivery timelines.
- Strong analytical skills to track program performance, identify issues early, and support data-driven decisions (KPIs/OKRs, delivery metrics, trend analysis).
- Working knowledge of risk, dependency, and issue management, including maintaining RAID artifacts and supporting escalation and mitigation plans.
- Familiarity with delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and ability to operate effectively in hybrid environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to produce crisp status updates, meeting notes, and stakeholder-ready materials.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical fluency with modern systems and digital tools, enabling effective collaboration with engineering and architecture partners.
- AI fluency and intellectual curiosity, with willingness to learn and apply current agentic tools/agents to improve delivery execution, transparency, and operational efficiency.
- Ability to evaluate and articulate AI/agent-assisted use cases and success measures, and to support adoption in partnership with engineering and control stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience supporting enterprise programs with governance routines (steering materials, financial tracking, dependency management, release readiness).
- Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with senior partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma) a plus.
