Financial Controls Technical Project Manager – 6 months contract (Daily rate)
Remote working pattern with some travel to our Hammersmith or Woking offices
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager – Financial Controls to join Nomad Foods and lead the delivery of a key Financial Controls transformation programme. Working across Finance, Technology and third-party delivery partners, you will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of controls, governance processes and technology solutions that support automation, compliance and operational excellence. This is a highly visible role that will require strong stakeholder engagement, programme leadership and the ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives from inception through to successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Financial Controls Project, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, timelines and business outcomes.
- Own and maintain the end-to-end project plan across all workstreams, including technology delivery activities.
- Drive the delivery of technical solutions through internal teams and third-party vendors whilst ensuring adherence to governance processes.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Business Analysis, Infrastructure, Solution Design and Service Delivery teams.
- Manage project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, escalating where required and driving mitigation plans.
- Plan and coordinate production cutover activities and ensure readiness for deployment and go-live.
- Manage project budgets, cost estimates and financial reporting across Capex and Opex spend.
- Facilitate workshops, governance meetings and project reviews to maintain momentum and alignment.
- Provide regular progress reporting to programme leadership and senior stakeholders.
- Drive stakeholder engagement across Finance, Technology and external delivery partners to ensure successful programme outcomes.

About you
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex business and technology transformation programmes. You will be highly organised, commercially minded and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across a matrix environment. Your ability to build relationships, navigate ambiguity and deliver successful outcomes will be key to your success in this role.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience leading medium to large-scale business and technology projects from initiation through to delivery.
- Strong project planning, governance, budgeting and delivery management experience.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, suppliers and outsourced delivery partners.
- Demonstrable experience managing project RAID logs and identifying risks, dependencies and mitigation strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior business and technology leaders.
- Experience delivering technology-enabled transformation programmes within complex organisations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Experience within Finance, Controls, Governance or Transformation programmes would be highly advantageous.
