Technical Project Manager
Job Summary
The Technical Project Manager has the technical experience and aptitude that will successfully lead processes and drive results of the client installation experience. The Technical Project Manager will manage complex and premier projects with our clients and provide Pre & Post sales technical support for audio, video, and lighting installations.
Core Responsibilities
- Effectively work with the Account Management team to ensure that the specification meets the client’s requirements, carrying out site surveys, working from plans as required, and sourcing new products as necessary.
- Ensures the completed system performs as required through commissioning equipment that meets all Mood Media client specifications.
- Source and evaluate new products for use on current and future projects.
- Provides ongoing support for completed projects internally and direct to the client.
- Provides comprehensive plans/instructions in respect of installations and to liaise with the installer to ensure that the work is carried out to the client’s total satisfaction and in accordance with Mood Media’s SLA’s.
- Supports and develops colleague’s knowledge within the same office and wider global teams.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project design documentation, including the production and review of AutoCAD/Revit shop drawings, functional block diagrams, floor plans, and rack elevations.
- Works with global teams developing solutions, generating accurate costings, and gathering information for key clients.
- Oversee modern AV engineering requirements, integrating software development, DSP programming, and close coordination with MEP/structural engineering to ensure turnkey project delivery.
- Be prepared to carry out occasional overseas work as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent audio-visual product knowledge with experience in specifying and installing this equipment.
- Min 5 Years industry or associated industry (within an AV environment) experience.
- Experience with global project deployment and support.
- Valid Passport with no travel restrictions.
- CTS Qualification.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of control systems. Ideally Crestron.
- Demonstrable experience with video walls & other display technologies.
- Demonstrable experience with AV systems. Design, Deployment & Support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate scheduled deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit for designing and reviewing detailed technical schematics and shop drawings.
- Strong understanding of modern AV system lifecycles, including experience design, content strategy, and coordinated system commissioning.
