Security / Technical Project Manager
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: 6-month initial contract
Start Date: Beginning of September
The Role
We are looking for a Security or Technical Project Manager to support a new project within a leading banking organisation.
The role will focus on working with cloud domain owners to identify, document and assess the privileged access patterns currently in place across cloud platforms. Where gaps are identified against existing security controls, you will work closely with platform owners to manage and coordinate remediation activity through to completion.
Strong project management experience within a technical or security environment is the key requirement, with exposure to cloud platforms and/or privileged access within cloud environments being highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of a new cloud privileged access remediation project from initiation through to completion.
- Work closely with cloud domain and platform owners to identify and document existing privileged access patterns.
- Coordinate assessments against defined security and control requirements.
- Identify gaps, risks, dependencies and remediation requirements.
- Own and manage remediation actions with relevant platform owners, ensuring progress is tracked through to resolution.
- Coordinate across security, cloud, infrastructure and technical teams to maintain delivery momentum.
- Maintain project plans, RAID logs, action trackers and reporting.
- Provide clear progress updates to project stakeholders and senior management.
- Support governance forums and ensure key decisions, actions and dependencies are appropriately documented.
- Challenge delivery teams where required to ensure agreed controls and remediation activities are completed.
- Ensure project activities are delivered in line with the organisation's security and governance requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience within banking or another highly regulated financial services environment.
- Exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity and Access Management (IAM) or access controls.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within a technical, security, infrastructure or cloud environment.
- Strong project management and delivery skills, with experience managing complex technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing remediation, control uplift, risk or compliance-related projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with technical and platform owners.
- Experience managing project plans, risks, issues, dependencies and remediation actions.
- Ability to understand technical environments and translate complex information into clear project actions and reporting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Desirable Skills & Experience
- Understanding of privileged access within cloud environments.

- Experience working with cloud domain owners, infrastructure teams or security functions.
