Position Summary

The Technology Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating technology workstreams associated with office build-outs, workplace expansions, and corporate real estate projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact for technology delivery in the field and works closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

  • Act as the day-to-day project manager for technology workstreams within office build-outs and real estate projects.
  • Serve as the primary field contact for general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, integrators, and service providers.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with construction milestones.
  • Escalate blockers, drive issue resolution, and provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Technology Infrastructure Delivery

  • Oversee the implementation, testing, and handover of technology systems, including:

Low Voltage & Network Infrastructure

  • Manage structured cabling deployments, including copper and fibre installations.
  • Oversee MDF/IDF build-outs, UPS/PDU deployment, and adherence to approved design standards and specifications.

Network Deployment

  • Coordinate ISP circuit delivery and network hardware logistics.
  • Manage rack-and-stack activities, patching, cutovers, and coordination with Network Engineering teams.

Audio Visual & Collaboration Technologies

  • Oversee conference room, collaboration space, and video-conferencing deployments.
  • Coordinate implementation and commissioning activities with AV integrators and network teams.

Physical Security Systems

  • Oversee access control, biometric systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related security technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and successful integration with enterprise platforms.

Construction & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Represent the technology team in construction, design, inspection, and vendor coordination meetings.
  • Partner closely with Technical Programme Managers, Network Engineering, Audio Visual, Corporate Security, Real Estate, architects, contractors, and technology vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor installation quality, standards compliance, commissioning readiness, and punch-list resolution.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

  • Oversee commissioning, validation, and acceptance of technology systems.
  • Ensure completion of testing, remediation activities, and final documentation, including as-built drawings, warranties, training materials, and closeout deliverables.
  • Deliver project closeout documentation, lessons learned, and final sign-off.

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular status reporting on schedules, risks, issues, budget adherence, and key decisions.
  • Develop stakeholder communications, executive updates, and escalation plans as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing technology delivery within corporate real estate, office fit-out, or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of low-voltage infrastructure, networking, audio visual technologies, and physical security systems.
  • Experience working with general contractors, architects, engineers, MEP consultants, low-voltage contractors, AV integrators, security integrators, and other construction stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Experience delivering projects across multiple regions, cultures, and time zones.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% to support project delivery and milestone validation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering global workplace or corporate real estate technology programmes.
  • Familiarity with structured cabling standards, network infrastructure deployments, workplace technologies, and construction project delivery methodologies.
