The Opportunity
JUXT is partnering with a Tier 1 global investment bank within its Production Management organisation on a high-visibility, enterprise-scale technology programme with senior executive sponsorship.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to take ownership of delivery end-to-end, from strategy and business case through to production and post-implementation review.
This is a delivery leadership role with genuine technical substance. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, risk and business leadership, and will need to engage credibly with technical teams on delivery challenges and technical trade-offs rather than simply coordinating or relaying information.
The Role
You will own the delivery of a complex, multi-workstream technology programme spanning multiple teams and potentially business units.
You will translate strategic objectives into a clear and achievable delivery roadmap, establish governance, actively manage programme risks and dependencies, and ensure delivery remains aligned with business outcomes.
A key part of the role is the ability to operate comfortably between senior executive stakeholders and engineering teams, turning complex technical and delivery issues into clear decisions, actions and outcomes.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of a complex technology programme from business case through production and post-implementation review.
- Translate strategic objectives into a sequenced, resourced delivery roadmap with clear milestones and exit criteria.
- Own and actively manage the programme's risk, issue and dependency register, driving resolution rather than simply tracking status.
- Identify cross-team dependencies and escalate blockers before they impact the critical path.
- Run programme governance forums, including steering committees and senior business reviews.
- Operate within a hybrid delivery model combining agile-at-scale and phase-gated governance where appropriate.
- Maintain core programme governance artefacts including the programme charter, RACI, roadmap, risk register and decision log.
- Provide concise, decision-ready reporting to senior executive stakeholders covering delivery status, risk, dependencies and financials.
- Act as the primary technical delivery point of contact for senior programme sponsors.
- Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to understand technical trade-offs, constraints and delivery risks.
- Influence stakeholders and drive decisions without relying on formal authority.
- Identify and remove delivery friction across teams and workstreams.
- Streamline and automate recurring governance, reporting and delivery processes where possible.

Requirements
Essential Experience
- 10+ years' experience in technology delivery, with at least 6+ years leading complex, multi-team technical agile programmes.
- Proven ownership of large-scale technology programmes spanning multiple teams, platforms or business units.
- Strong experience managing formal risk, issue and dependency registers, with a proactive approach to escalation and resolution.
- Practical experience using at least one scaled delivery framework in a real-world environment.
- Demonstrable ability to engage credibly with software engineers, technical leads and architects.
- Experience presenting programme status, risks and decisions to senior executive stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority.
- Understanding of modern platform engineering and DevSecOps practices, including:
- CI/CD
- GitOps
- Containerisation
- Cloud migration patterns
- Hands-on experience with at least one of:
- Scripting
- Automation
- Data modelling
Technical & Delivery Mindset
You don't need to be a hands-on software engineer, but you should be technically credible and comfortable discussing modern engineering practices with development and architecture teams.
You should understand how areas such as CI/CD, containerisation, GitOps, cloud platforms and DevSecOps affect delivery timelines, dependencies, risk and operational readiness.
You will be expected to challenge assumptions, understand technical constraints and translate complex engineering discussions into clear delivery decisions.
