Technical Records Administrator
Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-focused Technical Records Administrator to join a leading aerospace and defence programme based in Brize Norton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a technical background who enjoys working in a highly regulated environment where accuracy and compliance are essential.
As a Technical Records Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing critical aircraft maintenance documentation, ensuring records are accurate, compliant, and easily accessible. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting airworthiness and engineering operations through effective record management and data administration. Based on the briefing information, the role involves handling aircraft paperwork, entering maintenance data into airworthiness management systems, and supporting audit and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain aircraft maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Enter, validate, and update maintenance data within airworthiness and maintenance management systems.
- Conduct technical logbook checks and maintenance transaction audits.
- Scan, archive, and electronically file engineering documentation.
- Support airworthiness reviews and audit activities.
- Publish and control approved engineering documentation.
- Download and archive aircraft flight data.
- Ensure documentation packs are complete and accurate for operational activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the technical records function.
- Assist with training and knowledge sharing within the team.

About You
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous administration, records management, or data entry experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using databases and electronic record systems.
- Experience handling technical, engineering, maintenance, or compliance documentation.
- A technical background, ideally within aviation, aerospace, engineering, automotive, or another regulated environment.
- Experience using maintenance or engineering management systems would be advantageous.

Security & Compliance
The successful Technical Records Administrator will be required to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. The position is subject to export control requirements, and applicants must be capable of meeting all applicable legislative, regulatory, and security obligations associated with the programme. Candidates can start with BPSS+ clearance but must obtain SC clearance to continue employment.
Contract Details
- Location: Brize Norton
- Hybrid working: Approximately 60% onsite
- 35 hours per week across 4.5 days
- Inside IR35
- £25.99 per hour Umbrella
- £19.65 per hour PAYE
- Overtime available after 35 hours
