Are you a confident negotiator who enjoys a challenge? Do you have experience in credit hire, motor claims, insurance or recoveries — or simply have the determination, attention to detail and investigative mindset to become a great negotiator? Auto Logistic Solutions Ltd (ALS) is growing — and we're looking for a Technical Recovery Negotiator to join our friendly, supportive Recoveries Team.
What we do
Established in 2010, ALS is a well-established road traffic accident management company specialising in credit hire, credit repair and the recovery of uninsured losses. We manage the entire customer journey — from the initial accident through to vehicle repair, return and recovery of the losses from the at-fault insurer. Now we want to add another great person to our team.
The role
You'll manage your own caseload of up to 300 claims, negotiating directly with insurers and solicitors to maximise recovery for our clients and the business. Your day-to-day will include:

- Negotiating credit hire, credit repair, storage & recovery and uninsured losses
- Investigating and resolving liability and quantum disputes
- Liaising with insurers, solicitors, clients and referrers
- Managing your own caseload and prioritising workload effectively
- Processing payments, incoming correspondence and telephone enquiries
- Using your knowledge and negotiation skills to challenge insurers and secure the best possible recovery.
What we're looking for
You don't necessarily need years of experience — attitude, resilience and the ability to learn are just as important. We're looking for someone who is:
- A confident and persuasive negotiator
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- An excellent problem solver with an investigative mindset
- Comfortable handling a busy caseload and working to deadlines
- Confident on the telephone and in written communication
- Able to work independently while being part of a supportive team
Credit hire, ABI GTA and motor claims experience is preferred, but not essential. Experience with Pro-Claim would also be advantageous.

What you'll get
- Salary from £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:30
- Rochdale – fully office based
- 20 days' holiday + bank holidays (increasing with years of service)
