Your Mission

We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to join us in Bristol and take ownership of sourcing, engaging, and closing technical talent as we scale across the UK and EU. You'll work closely with our delivery and leadership teams to understand the engineering, data and AI talent our client engagements need and build the pipelines to meet that demand.

This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruitment role with real scope to shape how it's done. As Newpage grows in the UK and expands into new European markets, there's a genuine opportunity to grow with the company - helping define our recruitment approach, processes and tooling and building a team around you over time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle technical recruitment - sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer management - for engineering, data, and technical roles across the UK and EU.
  • Partner closely with delivery and leadership to understand client and project talent needs, translating them into clear role specs and sourcing strategies.
  • Build and maintain a strong, warm pipeline of technical talent - software engineers, forward-deployed engineers, data engineers/scientists and AI-native builders.
  • Run structured, high-quality screening and assessment processes, ensuring a consistently strong candidate experience end-to-end.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on market conditions, salary benchmarks and realistic hiring timelines.
  • Bring market intelligence on technical talent trends and the competitive landscape across UK and EU markets.
  • Support our expansion identifying sourcing channels and getting to grips with local hiring practices and considerations in new markets.
  • Help shape and continuously improve Newpage's recruitment function as we scale, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the need grows.

What You Bring

  • Around 5 years' recruitment experience, ideally with a strong focus on technical/engineering recruitment (agency or in-house).
  • A proven track record sourcing and closing technical talent - software engineering, data, AI/ML, or similar disciplines.
  • Comfortable owning a full-cycle recruitment process independently, from brief to offer.
  • Confident stakeholder management - you can work directly with senior leadership and technical hiring managers as a peer, not just an order-taker.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across candidates, clients and internal teams.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset - you're comfortable building processes from scratch and adapting as the company scales.
  • Genuine interest in technology, with the ability to speak credibly with technical candidates about their craft.
