Technical Safety Project Lead
Our client is a North Sea operator currently recruiting for the position of Technical Safety Project Lead, based in Aberdeen. This is a staff role with hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate technical safety activities across multiple projects from concept through to delivery.
- Influence project, asset, and technical stakeholders to ensure safety requirements are embedded in decision-making.
- Develop and maintain technical safety plans, ensuring regulatory, verification, and asset requirements are achieved.
- Manage specialist studies, contractor work scopes, and third-party technical safety deliverables.
- Provide assurance that technical safety activities meet company standards, industry requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and supporting the evolution of technical safety project delivery practices.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in Technical Safety within offshore, energy, process, or other major hazard industries.
- Strong understanding of technical safety legislation, industry standards, verification requirements, and risk management principles.
- Experience supporting brownfield modifications, management of change processes, and project delivery activities.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders, contractors, and specialist consultants across complex project environments.
- Excellent planning, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
