Technical Sales Administrator
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £35,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with ACM Bearings Ltd, a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Rotherham, supplying high-performance components to clients across the marine and industrial sectors worldwide. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Technical Sales Administrator to join their technical sales and projects team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an engineering background who is looking to develop their career within a technical, commercial and customer-focused environment.
As a Technical Sales Administrator, you’ll support the sales process from initial enquiry through to order completion. You’ll work closely with engineering, production and procurement teams, as well as customers, ensuring technical specifications are understood and orders are processed accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications to assess project requirements
- Prepare and issue accurate quotations based on engineering inputs and costings
- Process customer orders, ensuring technical and commercial accuracy
- Liaise with engineering, production and procurement teams to coordinate projects
- Communicate with customers regarding specifications, quotations and order updates
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is completed correctly
- Support the wider technical sales and projects team

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within a technical sales, sales administration or engineering environment
- Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant engineering qualification/experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD LT or a similar 2D CAD package (training will also be given)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments
