Technical Service Advisor – Automotive

Immediate Start Available

We are looking for a Technical Service Advisor to join our growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has a genuine interest in cars, a good technical understanding of how vehicles work, and strong communication skills.

You’ll be speaking with customers who need advice and assistance with their vehicles, so we’re looking for someone who can combine automotive knowledge with excellent customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Speaking with customers over the phone, understanding their vehicle concerns and providing clear, helpful advice
  • Using your technical knowledge of cars to explain faults, repairs, and the services we offer in an easy-to-understand way
  • Guiding customers through the repair process and keeping them informed
  • Accurately inputting and updating customer and vehicle information on our computer systems
  • Managing your own workload and following up with customers when required
  • Working independently while supporting the smooth running of the wider team
  • Providing a high standard of customer service throughout the customer journey

What We’re Looking For

  • Good knowledge of cars and a technical understanding of how they work
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers over the phone
  • A genuine interest in the automotive industry
  • A willingness to learn and continue developing your technical knowledge
  • Confidence using computers and customer management systems
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable managing your own workload
  • A positive, professional approach to customer service

Previous experience within the automotive industry would be beneficial, but we are also interested in hearing from people who have developed strong automotive knowledge through their own experience and have the right attitude to learn.
