Salary: Technical Sales Advisors - Water – Chesterfield (Other Locations Considered)

These newly created roles offer the opportunity to support AMP8 investment and play a key part in the continued growth of our Water sector business.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Technical Sales Advisor - Water, you'll be responsible for:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Providing technical advice and value-engineered solutions to help customers identify the right products and solutions for their projects.
  • Managing quotations, enquiries and sales orders, ensuring a high level of accuracy and customer care throughout.
  • Supporting customers with complex requirements, using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to deliver the best outcomes.
  • Developing relationships with Tier 1 contractors, framework customers and key stakeholders within the Water sector.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to drive sales growth, improve processes and achieve shared objectives.

Role Details:

These are full-time, permanent roles working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The role is ideally based in Chesterfield; however, alternative locations may be considered for the right candidate. You could work from one of our branches, with flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a technical sales, internal sales or customer-facing commercial role.
  • Experience within the Water or Utilities sector is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with Tier 1 contractors and framework agreements would be advantageous.
  • The ability to provide technical advice and solution-based sales support, rather than simply processing quotes and orders.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive approach, with excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
