Sales and Marketing Executive | £35,000 - £40,000 DOE | Garforth, Leeds
We’re looking for a commercially minded Sales and Marketing Executive to join an established manufacturer of specialist gas detection technology. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll develop customer and partner relationships, improve sales processes and support marketing activity as the business continues to grow.

The Role
Working closely with commercial, technical and external marketing teams, you’ll manage sales opportunities, develop distributor and reseller relationships, coordinate quotations and tenders, and support marketing campaigns and product content.
This isn’t a high-volume cold-calling role. We’re looking for someone proactive, analytical and organised who enjoys building long-term relationships and taking ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales enquiries, opportunities, quotations and tenders from initial contact through to completion.
- Develop relationships with new, existing and lapsed customers, distributors and channel partners.
- Maintain accurate CRM and ERP records, sales pipelines and commercial reporting.
- Coordinate sales proposals and technical product information with internal teams.
- Support digital marketing activity, website content, email campaigns and social media through external agencies.
- Gather market and competitor insights while improving sales and marketing processes.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a sales, marketing or commercially focused role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment.
- Experience working with distributors, resellers or channel partners.
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence using CRM systems, ERP software, Microsoft Office and Excel. Sage 200 experience would be advantageous.
- The ability to understand technical information, build relationships and work independently.
