Technical Sales Apprentice

London | Full-Time Office Based | 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday | Competitive Salary

Job Summary

CMS Distribution is looking for an ambitious and motivated Vendor Manager Apprentice to join our Enterprise Software Cyber Security division.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the technology industry while completing a fully funded Level 4 Technical Sales Apprenticeship. You'll develop commercial, relationship management, and sales skills while learning about some of the world's leading cyber security technologies.

No previous cyber security experience is required. We're looking for someone with enthusiasm, drive, and a willingness to learn.

What is Vendor Management?

Vendor management is all about building relationships with leading technology manufacturers, supporting business growth, and helping bring innovative technology solutions to market.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Learning about cyber security technologies, vendors, and the IT industry.
  • Supporting vendor relationships and commercial activities.
  • Assisting with quotations, proposals, presentations, and business reviews.
  • Learning the technology sales cycle and business planning processes.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns, events, and growth initiatives.
  • Building relationships with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
  • Completing vendor accreditations and a Level 4 Technical Sales Apprenticeship.

Essential Requirements

  • A-Level education (or equivalent).
  • GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4/C or above.
