Every campervan we build starts as a blank van and a half-formed idea. Every works van we fit out starts with a tradesperson who needs to lay hands on the right tool in ten seconds flat. Your job is to sell both.

We are looking for a Technical Salesperson to own our conversion enquiries from the first phone call through to the finished handover — specifying layouts, researching kit, pricing the build and working alongside our engineers to see it through.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be the single point of contact for our conversion customers. Some want a modest upgrade to a van they already own. Others arrive with a bare panel van and a blank sheet of paper. A tradesperson wants a van that works as hard on day 300 as it did on day one. You will guide them through the options, research and specify the equipment, price the job and hand it to our engineers — then keep the customer informed until the day they drive it away.

The role spans both sides of the business by design. One week you might be laying out a full camper conversion for a couple planning a year on the road; the next, quoting Bott racking for a fleet of works vans. Both revenue streams are growing, and the variety is the point.

There is real room to shape it, too. You will be building the sales processes and procedures for both sides as you go, and as the business grows, so does the function you have built. If you would rather run something than slot into someone else’s system, this will suit you.

We are a small team, and everyone here mucks in. Some days that means answering the phone, booking in a delivery or giving a hand in the workshop. It is the trade-off for a job with no silos and no passing things to another department — you see the whole business, you know every customer by name, and when you spot something that could work better, you are close enough to change it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own every conversion enquiry — camper and commercial — from first contact through to handover
  • Design and specify layouts with customers — from cosmetic upgrades to full camper builds to commercial racking
  • Research equipment and suppliers to find the right kit for each customer’s budget and intended use
  • Prepare, present and follow up quotes
  • Order equipment and schedule deliveries so installations run smoothly
  • Work day to day with our engineers to keep builds on track
  • Handle commercial vehicle conversion and Bott installation enquiries alongside the camper work
  • Build the sales processes and procedures for both revenue streams from scratch
  • Muck in with the day-to-day running of a small business — answering the phone, receiving deliveries and lending a hand where it is needed
  • Represent us at trade and county shows through the year

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • A track record in sales — ideally consultative or technical — where you have taken a customer from enquiry through to close
  • Genuinely good with people: patient with customers who need talking through the options, straight with those who don’t
  • Organised enough to run several builds at different stages without dropping anything
  • Confident with computers — quoting, email, spreadsheets and CRM
  • Happy to roll your sleeves up — in a team our size, everyone pitches in beyond their job title
  • Reliable and proactive, comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the campervan, caravan, leisure vehicle or automotive sector
  • Previous experience handling campervan or conversion enquiries
  • Familiarity with commercial vehicle racking, storage or fleet fit-outs
  • Experience setting up processes and procedures from scratch

Limitless Campers launched in 2024, building accessible and fully customised campervans for disabled and able-bodied customers alike. We are part of the Driffield Mobility Group, alongside Driffield Mobility Ltd — thirty years of adapting vehicles for disabled drivers and passengers across the UK — and Limitless Conversions, a Bott service partner fitting out commercial vehicles.

That mix matters. Building a van that lets a wheelchair user get away for a weekend in the Dales is something very few conversion companies in the country can do. It is a good thing to sell.

What We Offer

  • £30,000 – £34,000 depending on experience
  • 21 days holiday rising to 26 with service, plus bank holidays
  • Healthcare cash plan — money back on everyday costs such as dental, optical and physiotherapy
  • Company pension scheme
  • A direct line to the Managing Director — no layers, quick decisions, and real influence over how the department is run
  • The chance to build a sales function from the ground up in a growing business
  • Manufacturer training and ongoing career development
  • Days out representing us at shows including the Great Yorkshire Show
  • Work that genuinely changes what some of our customers are able to do
