Technical Sales Consultant
Location: Nantwich
Salary: £35,000 basic + Uncapped OTE £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing specialist business looking for a commercially driven Technical Sales Consultant to help customers identify the right technical solution for their requirements. This is a consultative sales role where you'll work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide expert technical advice and recommend the most appropriate products and solutions. You'll become a trusted adviser throughout the sales process, combining excellent customer service with strong commercial awareness to deliver outstanding results.

The Role
- Manage the customer journey from initial enquiry through to completed order, building strong relationships throughout.
- Understand customer requirements, provide technical advice, prepare quotations and recommend the most suitable solution.
- Manage your own sales pipeline, proactively following up enquiries and using the CRM system to maximise conversion rates.
- Process orders accurately and work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and efficiently.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while consistently achieving sales targets and contributing to business growth.

About You
- Experience within technical sales, internal sales, engineering sales, construction products, manufacturing, building products or another consultative sales environment.
- Confident discussing technical products or solutions and able to quickly understand customer requirements.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and engaging way.
- Commercially driven, organised and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Motivated by achieving sales targets while delivering first-class customer service.
