We are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Sales Director to lead our client's revenue growth strategy across civil aviation. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the sales function, covering aircraft parts trading, component distribution, MRO sales, and strategic account development. The successful candidate will bring an established network of contacts across airlines, MROs, lessors, and OEM channels, together with a proven track record of closing high-value deals in a technically complex, fast-paced environment.

Our client is a leading global player in the provision of post-market APUs and aircraft components. They cater for the requirements of airlines, OEMs, MROs, and stockists all over the world.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive sales experience within the civil aviation sector, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level commercial role.
  • Deep expertise in aircraft parts trading, component distribution, surplus inventory, or MRO sales in particular in regard to Auxiliary Power Units & Main Engines.
  • Demonstrable track record of winning and managing multi-million pound/dollar contracts with airlines, MROs, or lessors.
  • Established network of decision-maker relationships across major airlines, MROs, and aviation supply chain organisations.
  • Strong technical understanding of commercial aircraft systems, components, and airworthiness certification requirements (e.g. EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3).
  • Proven ability to lead and scale a sales team in an international environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills at C-suite and board level.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
