An integral member of the Rubix Engineering Services Division

Deritend was founded in 1898 and serves an extensive customer base including some of the largest manufacturers in the UK.

Deritend is firmly established as one of the UK's leading providers of engineering solutions, this includes the repair or replacement of electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, electronic controls and induction equipment.

Deritend provide specialist engineering services into the Water Utility sector, Energy, Steel, Aggregates, Waste Management & Recycling, Heavy Plant & Machinery, Paper and Packaging and Food & Beverage.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Deep knowledge of Rotating equipment is highly preferred.
  • Structured and data driven customer acquisition process
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver's license (company vehicle provided).

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a Service and Repair organisation and familiarity with equipment used across a variety of industry sectors: Water Utility, Heavy Industry, Energy, Renewables, Metals, Automotive and Food & Beverage.
  • Time-served, apprentice trained Engineer, ideally qualified to HNC / Degree level in a Manufacturing / Business discipline.
