What Are We Looking For?

As part of RSE’s Chemical Dosing Business, Chem Resist has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer based at our office in Dewsbury. You would be working with the existing Sales Team, maintaining existing & developing new customer relationships.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in a specialist area of Engineering, working in a wide range of industries.

We are looking for a highly motivated, driven individual to be part of our very successful and experienced sales team.

Some Of Your Key Duties

  • Liaising with new and existing customers by email, telephone, video call and face to face meetings.
  • Developing enquiries and producing detailed proposals for clients, ensuring their requirements are understood and met.
  • Maintaining our ERP system, with details and updates as projects progress.
  • Producing enquiry and sales reports as required.
  • Enquiry follow-up and sales negotiation.
  • Visits to customer sites as required, to help establish requirements and specification.
  • Continuing product development working alongside our Technical team.

What Do You Need?

  • Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good attention to detail, you will be required to develop clear and accurate customer proposals and quotations.
  • Accurate work with excellent attention to detail.
  • High competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Document Control Applications (ideally SharePoint, or similar).
  • Good collaborative skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff (face to face, telephone and by remote video communications) to obtain technical information.
  • Any previous experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication sector(s) would be highly advantageous.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
