Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday | Flexible Working Hours
Salary: Competitive + Performance Bonus + Company Vehicle

An established engineering and manufacturing business based in Leeds is looking to recruit an ambitious Technical Sales Engineer to help drive the continued growth of its in-house machine shop.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Technical Sales Engineer with strong technical knowledge and an existing network within the precision engineering and manufacturing sector. You'll be given the autonomy to identify and win new business while maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.

The Role

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Develop new business opportunities across the precision engineering sector.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Promote the company's in-house CNC machining and precision engineering capabilities.
  • Visit customers to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and follow opportunities through to completion.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Represent the business professionally and identify opportunities for long-term partnerships.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in technical sales within precision engineering or CNC machining.
  • An established network of contacts within the precision engineering industry.
  • The confidence to develop new business while nurturing existing accounts.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
