The company provides end-to-end engineering, procurement, and construction services, from initial survey and design through fabrication, installation, commissioning, and handover. Its expertise spans civil, mechanical, structural, and specialist engineering disciplines, enabling seamless management of complex project interfaces.

Role Description
The Technical Sales Engineer (BDM) is a full-time hybrid role based in Flint, with the flexibility to perform some duties from home. This role is responsible for:

Day-to-day tasks include:
- Conducting technical sales presentations
- Preparing proposals and cost estimates
- Collaborating with engineering and project teams to translate client requirements into viable solutions
The Technical Sales Engineer (BDM) will also provide technical support during pre- and post-sales phases, respond to customer inquiries, and ensure that projects are aligned with client expectations. The role also includes market research, participation in industry events, and maintaining accurate CRM records to support sales forecasting and reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with proven experience building and maintaining client relationships in engineering or construction sectors.
- Sales Engineering capabilities, including the ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into tailored solutions and proposals.
- Technical Support skills, with the ability to assist clients in resolving technical queries and coordinate with internal engineering teams.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and stakeholder engagement.
- Relevant experience in EPC, industrial, civil, mechanical, or structural engineering environments is highly beneficial.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, technical disciplines, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented and customer-focused approach.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to visit client sites, offices, and project locations as required.
