Technical Sales Engineer (Building Services)

£46,000 - £48,000 + Enhanced Holidays + Company Pension + Training + Progression

Are you a Technical Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, Estimator or HVAC professional with experience in building services, looking to join a growing international business offering technical variety, progression and exposure to high-value projects?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of ventilation diffusers, grilles and architectural louvres, working from a brand-new facility in Southend-on-Sea. You'll play a key role within the technical sales team, supporting customers and external sales through product selection, estimating and quotation preparation.

The company has over 45 years of experience designing and manufacturing high-quality ventilation products supplied to prestigious projects worldwide, including luxury residences, yachts, government buildings, commercial developments and industrial installations. With continued growth and investment, they are now moving into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility, providing an exciting environment for the next stage of the business. As part of a wider international group, the role also offers exposure to a variety of products, projects and colleagues across global markets.

This role would suit someone from an HVAC, building services, technical sales, estimating or applications engineering background who enjoys combining technical knowledge with customer interaction and commercial decision-making.

The Role

  • Review and interpret project specifications, drawings and schedules.
  • Select suitable grilles, diffusers, louvres and associated ventilation products.
  • Produce accurate and competitive technical quotations and estimates.
  • Support the external sales team with technical and commercial information.
  • Respond to technical enquiries from customers, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
  • Assist with complex, high-value and specification-led projects.

The Person

  • Experience within HVAC or building services.
  • Background in technical sales, estimating, applications engineering or a similar role.
