We're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who can combine technical understanding with commercial drive to help customers find the right solution, win new business, and build lasting partnerships.

Geosense is a leading manufacturer of geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring solutions, supporting engineers, contractors, consultants, and asset owners worldwide. As part of our growing sales team, you'll work closely with customers to understand their requirements, recommend tailored technical solutions, and manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to quotation and conversion.

This role offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with customer engagement, helping to solve real-world engineering challenges while contributing to the continued growth of the business. If you're commercially minded, technically curious, and motivated by building strong customer relationships, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Qualify enquiries and identify commercially viable opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, including product selection, pricing, lead times, and technical recommendations.
  • Manage enquiries and opportunities through the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Proactively follow up quotations, gather customer feedback, and maximise conversion opportunities.
  • Grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Support territory planning and contribute to strategic account development.
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve technical queries and project challenges.
  • Identify risks and potential issues early, ensuring a proactive approach to problem solving.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
