Technical Sales Engineer – Lift Industry
PIP Lift Service Ltd is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing Sales Department, covering London and the South East.
About the Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will survey existing lift installations, develop appropriate technical solutions, and prepare quotations for a range of works including repairs, component replacements, partial and major modernisations, refurbishments, and full lift replacements.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing specifications and tender documents
- Obtaining supplier quotations
- Preparing project costings
- Identifying technical requirements and risks
- Attending client meetings
- Working closely with our Sales, Service, and Major Works teams

Requirements
- Previous lift industry experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or EOR202 (or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of traction, MRL, and hydraulic lifts
- Good understanding of lift repairs and modernisation works
- Ability to survey installations and develop technical solutions
- Good commercial, communication, and organisational skills
- Knowledge of relevant lift standards and regulations
- Full UK driving licence

Previous technical sales or estimating experience would be beneficial, although we would also welcome applications from experienced lift engineers looking to progress into technical sales.
