Technical Sales Engineer (Machine Tools)
£45,000-£55,000 + Progression + Training + Company Vehicle (+ Personal Use) + Company Benefits
Hybrid - Peterborough, with some regional travel and WFH
Are you a Technical Sales Engineer or Production Engineer or looking for a dynamic role heading up one of a kind Machine Tooling projects and further customer relationships within a well-established manufacturer known for looking after their staff who offer a range of ongoing progression opportunities and full autonomy over project delivery?
This company are a well-established provider of bespoke Precision Engineering solutions to a range of key industries including Aerospace, Motorsport and Energy with over 50 years experience. They have built a loyal client base due to their first rate service, and due to an ever increasing workload are looking to grow their friendly team of 25.
In this autonomous role you will be the go-to person heading up specialist projects as you work closely with clients to understand their requirements, make suggestions on plans for projects and provide quotations for work. You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle as you liaise with different departments, undertake regular client visitation and win some business through cold calling and a range of account management approaches.

This dynamic role would suit a Technical Sales Engineer or similar looking for a unique opportunity to work autonomously on Machine Tooling projects within a well-established company known for looking after their staff who work with a varied and cutting-edge client base.
The Role:
- Work with customers to understand project requirements
- Provide quotations, engineering advice and support
- Liaise with manufacturing teams, senior leadership and customers throughout project lifecycle
- Undertake cold calling, outreach to previous clients and associated sales approaches
- Hybrid role with regular client visitation
